Elisa Medina
Elisa Medina has years of experience in counseling, coaching, group facilitation, and leadership development and training. Elisa uses a variety of approaches in her work, each tailored to the client's specific needs. She works with executives and their organizations in a caring, confidential and nonjudgmental manner. She helps executives refine their leadership skills, enhance their work performance, balance work and life goals, and manage stress and change. She specializes in helping top leaders create an organizational culture that is respectful, engaged, motivated and productive. Additionally, she specializes in working with clients who are newly transitioning or on-boarding into new management or executive positions. As an objective outside party, she asks strategic, thought-provoking questions which lead to increased self-awareness, a greater ability to lead effectively, and ultimately, better results for the entire organization. Her philosophy is that every leader has the potential to do tremendous good in their organizations and in the world.
Elisa Medina received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, and a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maryland and a member of the Society for Human Resource Mangement, American Society for Training and Development, World at Work, the National Association of Social Workers, and The Chesapeake Bay Organizational Development Network. In addition to being an executive coach and consultant, she is also on staff at The Johns Hopkins University, in the Faculty, Student and Employee Assistance Program.
